For too long L&D has had neither the apparatus to gather the vital behavioural data needed to shape their strategy, nor the expertise to use the data they do have effectively. But things have changed. L&D can now access a vast data set to gain insight into how and why people learn, and why interventions succeed or fail.

In 2019, Girlguiding and Filtered commenced a pilot implementation of magpie, the AI-driven learning recommendations engine. An overarching aim of the pilot was to gather hard data to support the learning strand of Girlguiding’s digital transformation initiative. This data is informing strategic decisions about the next steps to take on this journey.

In this session, Michelle Parry-Slater, Lead Volunteer for L&D, and Lucinda King, Digital Product and Project Lead at Girlguiding will be joined by Filtered’s Solutions Consultant, James Tyas to discuss the role data plays in learning strategy and digital transformation.

The format will be a mix of actionable takeaways and free interaction. This is your opportunity to put questions on data-driven learning to Girlguiding and receive honest insights and advice.
